  Damn that looks cool. You only see the videos of somebody falling hundreds of feet tangled up in hang-gliders on tv, that looks safe to me. I'd try that.

  And you only see news about guns killing people on TV.
  
  I can show you hours of boring Hang gliding videos where nothing really happens. Ive been doing it (unpowered, just soaring/gliding) for 6 years now. I want a power unit, but I have still caught thermals to 10k, and you can play at beach dunes like so:

  without a motor, but I want a motor for the independance of the weather.
  
  I don't have any good videos of more high altitude flying, but its even more safe (there is a saying, altitude is life insurance)
