Israel is about to pummel Iran......the weather forecast for Iraq is light resistance as Iran prepares for Israeli strikes.

Post Israeli strikes Iraq can expect partly radiated skies and light to neglidgeable resistance.

So then can we leave now?

You are a fool if you beleive Al Quaeda was in Iraq to start with.

Congratulations, they got rid of people who weren't there.

So CA sucks..... Al Queda was or is in Afghanistan, Pakistan, the Phillipines, Libya, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, France, Spain, Britain, and yes the good ole' US of A....but was never in Iraq? Riiiight.

I actually don't think we should have gone to Iraq (we should have just gone for the jugular- Iran) but trumpet to the mountaintops the good our soldiers have done now that they are there. Including routing Al Queda.

During Saddams rule, Al quaeda was not operating in Iraq, unless you know better than the intelligence agencies of all the major countries including our own.
Sure they may have came there after the start of the war, but they weren't there to start with.
I am not convinced they operated in bagdad anyway. Seems to me it was mostly just sunnis and pooptes bombing each other.
Al Quaeda's big plots and funding for visas and living years under cover just doesnt seem to fit the violence in Iraq.

And if they were there, how do we know they are gone?
I'll bet the general would have said NY was clear of terrorists before 9-11.

For a group composed of sleeper cells its awefully easy to say you got rid of them, awefully hard to do so.
But of course should they bomb anyone, you can attribute it to the sectarian violence (the main violence) that has absolutely nothing to do with Al Quaeda.
