Sig-556 now a folder - thanks to ACE!
ACE Rifle Stock has a new folding mechanism which was actually designed for gas piston AR's ... since the SiG-556 uses an AR stock, I ordered for my 556 ... it arrived today and took about 15 minutes to install it.
Although I like SiG's factory folder much better, but its not available to us simple mortals here in the US of A. As expected, the ACE locks up very solid and feels good plus it has about 1/2" of vertical adjustment which makes the cheek-weld better for optic's ... we'll see how it works with iron sights when they get here from a friend in Belgium.
