I might have forgot a few here, but just because I don't agree with the party on a few topics, doesn't mean I'm not a good and patriotic democrat.

I'm sorry, I just had to poke fun at their absurdity of "I support the military except the job they are doing position." These are the people that gave us "don't ask/don't tell".
Did I forget anything that I might disagree with them?
After I made the list, I now realize I actually do know some democrats that would seriously agree with me on each of those points, but yet they would call themselves democrats. Go figure. South Central Illinois Democrats are die hard fans of the party.

out-of-control spending
Medicare "reform"
education "reform"
rewarding North Korea for developing nukes
persecuting Border Patrol agents who do their job
warrantless eavesdropping
signing statements
homosexual harrassment of Congressional pages
accepting bribes and kickbacks
record pork barrel spending
reducing the VA budget over the next five years
reducing R%D for the military
reducing procurement funds for the military
increasing the number of felons within the armed forces
increasing the number of illegals within the armed forces
proposing amnesty for illegals
flip-flopping over global climate change
flip-flopping over "mission accomplished"

As for the rest, well, mostly true. But I would submit that almost all of the things on your list are either ALSO applicable to Democrats or are MAINLY applicable to the Democrats. Open border policy? That's Bush's thing for some reason, not a majority of the GOP.
Republicans spending too much? C'mon. We know who the real money wasters are.
The BP agents? It was Republicans prosecuting them? Really? Seems to me the people screaming about that case are Republicans. I haven't heard a single Democrat complain about a miscarriage of justice.
Accepting bribes and kickbacks? You know damn good and well both parties have members who have been guilty of selling themselves and in fact, over the past 40 years a list of those caught doing it has a few more Democrats than Republicans. You are making some patently false claims, here.
Reducing military benefits is something that seems to be happening and I don't get it. But, once again, are any Democrats better to the military and the vets? Not to my knowledge.
The problem is with the two-party system. We need more choice and the major parties need more checks on their excesses.0 -

I am neither a democrat or a republican. I vote issues and not party. As far as I am concerned the two biggest threats to America are Democrates and Republicans--the type who vote party regardless of the issues involved. I still think that what this country needs is one or maybe two more equally strong parties to force the congress and the President to at least consider "all" options before they act. An issue is either right(moral and ethical) or wrong(immoral and un-ethical). One of the problems we face today is a country that has gone so far down the road to political and social correctness that all we have is gray areas. Things used to be either black or white, with few gray areas and that has been the great change in this countries attitudes over the last 40+ years, more gray areas that downplay or soft pedal the black areas. 0 -

Unfortunately, there is a lot of truth in what you say. However, for me and others it is too easy to chose sides. When there is only two sides, it is difficult to stay issue oriented and not choose a side. Maybe we are weaker and easily chose a side who in at least words supports the issues we believe in.0 -
