Abortion because of Rape -

    If the abortion were performed the moment that the pregnancy was proven, and with the consent of the Mother - I'd approve...and I am pretty much pro-life.

    We had a local story a few months ago about a 13 year old that got knocked up by rape from a 20 year old Mexican gang member. Abortion became the issue. I had to think this is an issue? why?

    I thought that rape was the reason they came up with the "Morning After" pill.

    A 13 year old can make that type of decision? why? We know it will become part of the system at some point, along with the guy that made the baby.

    rape wasnt the reason but it is a perfect pill FOR that reason.

    Under the circumstance of rape I dont have a problem with the victim aborting the child. I think we all have our own feelings about this topic, and I believe everyone has a just reason for the way they feel toward the issue. My 2 pennies!

    a fetus that is (at least) 50% puke should be aborted,
    it's bad enough we have dumbazzes reporducing, we don't need criminal puke DNA in the gene pool.

    Yes sir, you are correct.
    The sad fact is that statistics show a large number of women, especially young girls, don't report the rape after it happens. It is attributed to a feeling of shame, many blame themselves. After the pregnancy is visible and they are confronted by friends and family the truth comes out.
    My wife worked for years as a pediatric counsellor and was on the local multi task force children protection unit made up of mental health professionals, law enforcement personnel assigned to special victims units, doctors and prosecuting attorneys. They meet at a facility called the Childrens Advocacy Center where young people up to high school age are interviewed, videotapes are made for later use if a case can be prosicuted. (sp).
    This failure to report is aired daily as adults come forward to join in presenting evidence against Catholic clergy, some of whom have been convicted and sent to jail.

I warn you in advance that some of the cases are graphic: how would you like to get a report from a medical doctor that describes, in clinical terms, an 8 year old girl who has a vagina the size of an adult woman, indication years of sexual pretatration by an adult male?

    Why consider abortion? They now have the morning(day) after pill. This is a legal pill that can be bought over the counter at the pharmacy that will prevent pregnacy in the case of accidental "blah" . I see this as the a better way of preventing pregnacy in a rape.
