does this look okay to ship

i have two shotguns inside a hard plastic case wraped in a cardboard box and taped..

    Hope there is something between the guns and between the guns and the case as ups can be brutal!

    I dont know about ups or fedx but the usps wont let you ship duct tape items here anymore..where would we be with out duct tape.[:D]..at least here anyway [usps] Ohio..Loko..[who would call and make sure before driving over there to ship]..[;)]

    reason: I was at us post office yesterday an elderly man came in and was in front of me,he had used duct tape to close his box up [who doesn't] and the lady at the counter [working] says they are refusing duct taped items..she proceeds to tear it off and reapply [legal, lol] tape..I ask her and she said dunno they just are go figure..Loko[:D]

    I've shipped well over 100k items in the last 10 years, and I can tell you that duct tape SUCKS on cardboard!

    It dries out, and peels right off when it gets hot. Thats why they don't want you to use it.

    USPS doesn't want duct tape because it is what a terrorist would use is he was shipping a bomb.Duct tape, wires sticking out, liquid leaking, are all things for postal employees to look for on packages. Pleaser do not laugh at this, we get to watch safety videos on this about 3 times a year.When you think about it, it really is funny.

    Duct tape is not a good choice for a cardboard package. That stuff will peel off very easily.

    **EDIT**

    And, depending on who you're shipping the shotguns to (i.e. a buyer), duct tape looks very unprofessional and will probably scare your buyer. I personally would be very uneasy if a C&R firearm showed up at my doorstep in a shoddy, duct-taped package.
