After 8 hours, six shots and an I.V. I'm home

A critter got me pretty good on the hand, well really good. Said critter than tookoff. I was busy controlling the bleeding. Anyway the E.R. sent me away, went to the normal Doc. they sent me back to the E.R. It took eight hours from the time I was in and out, and my hand sure hurts right now. Oh yeah the other part is that I have to go back for five other shots.

    I had similar exp. 2 yrs ago. hit a finger with a skill saw
    they didn't send me away but i was in the er for 2 1/2 hrs watching them care for and all the illegal's kids most had belly aches.
    thank goodness for free health care hate to see one of them die of a belly ache while i sit over there in the corner trying to keep my finger from falling off. it is frustrating I feel for you man.
    I was a toltal of about 8hrs also I walked out with some lortab and three stitches. and orders to come back three days later so they could operate and put my finger all back together.

    That sucks, been there done that
