I just picked up 2 1/2 case of 22-250 for really cheap only one problem i don't own a 22-250. So what should i buy? Wish I would have found the ammo a couple week earlier I would have got the CZ in 22-250 not 308. I really like the look and feel of my new CZ I just might have to get one more.

Does anyone use a 22-250 for coyotes. everyone around here tells me to use that caliber if I am going to use the pelts. But on other websites people are saying it's over kill that leaves to big of an exit wound if you want to save the pelts. Any comments or recommended calibers that won't leave big exit wounds would be apprecited[:p]

Isn't it customary to do a giveaway at 800 posts?
    Then again, maybe not.

Thats ok! It goes bang and turns varmints to mist[:p] Look at my XR-100
post. It's a poor man's bench gun, but I am sure it will shoot sub moa.
I like it because its not as heavy as my Rem. 40xbr.

Forgot to add it's about a 1k out the door - Glass

The Savage .22-250 is the best out of the box gun for the price you find anywhere. I have the 12BVSS in both .22-250 and .223. I love them both.

Gotta agree with him. I have an older 110 that still shoots 1" at 200 yards all day long.

    I have a 25-06 in a Savage 112 and a Rem 40xbr in 22-250
the 25-06 from Varmints to Deer. I keep the 22-250 to varmints only, (state law and cheaper to shoot varmints).

The 25-06 will do its job-[:D] Basically and I am sure you know, your taking a 30-06 case that has been necked down to .25 cal. So in short,
you do not want to be in the path of a 120gr ballistic tip.[:D][;)][:p]

Savage Model 12 Long Range Precision Varminter

    http://savagearms.com/12PrecVarm.htm

One of the guys at the range brought one out and let 5 of us shoot it with factory loads, five shote each. All 25 shots were inside of one hole that mesured less than 1/2 inch. It sure made me a believer.

I've got a Ruger No. 1 I could list... guy bought it a while back, never even put a scope on it - just the rings as they came out of the box...

I love my 22-250 I have a Ruger Model 77 MK II, it shoots like a target rifle. The 25-06 adds some range but the 22-250 will kill them as far as I can hit them.

My 22-250 is a Remington 700. Made in 1974 with a Redfield on it of the same vintage. Oh, the shots I've made with that rifle. You guys would laugh.
