She's been having shoulder pain that interfears w/her work. Went to doctor and after much testing/exrays etc they tell her she has an extra set of ribs.
Sounds pretty wierd to me.

  These are projections arising from the cervical vertebrae in the neck which may well impinge on the blood and nerve supply to the arm, thus causing such discomfort, aka "thoracic outlet syndrome".
