Colt 1903 Pocket Model Hammerless? .32 ACP? I had one of these several years ago, wanted something larger caliber, and sold it to a friend who was in the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. Sometimes I wish I had it back; it was a delight to carry. But my J Frame 2" .38 Special almost feels as good.

Edit - No, probably .380 ACP due to the military reference.

1903 Colt. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THAT GUN. The feel, the function. If I had more gumption, I'd try to make that gun today, and see if I could do something like a firing pin safety and/or a slide hold open, ala the Walther PPK, where it's all internal, so we don't spoil the lines....

You guy's are right and the 32.acp went to the Officers for some reason instead of the .380's Dillinger's was a .32 acp also, so sleek and slim and fun to fire. Showing your age a little also[;)]

...I love how slim and trim those are. Nothing much to snag on clothing, but I find the safety to be too small to flick off in a hurry.
...Mine's been used and carried pretty hard, so there's no sense in it being a safe queen. It gets tossed in a pocket or truck console quite often. If you like the 1903, you'd probably like the Remington .380 auto too. Oldies but goodies, for sure. Here's my 1903.

Try the Tokarev as an updated copy of the '03. Put slim grips on as I did and you have a great carry piece. Not much money , 8+1 mag capacity, powerful 7.62 X 25 round and neatly concealable. Go modern.
