You can set up your account so that you can buy/sell guns through PayPal. You just have to jump through all the hoops FIRST, before you buy/sell. If you buy guns, without having it set up FIRST, they will lock/freeze your account assets.

I don't know what the hoops are, don't care to find out.
    I agree with HobbyGuy.

They only allow FFL holders, who have jumped through their hoops to set up an account, to sell guns and use their service for payment. They are anti-gun and I refuse to do business with them.

Had an account. Closed it when they delayed my payment because it was for guns. GB will not accept paypal for payment for the same reasons.

I used Pay Pal by accident last night. I ordered a remote control for a satellite receiver and my choices were Pay Pal or Credit Card. I chose Credit Card, and after the transaction was done, the receipt said Pay Pal would charge my credit card.

Thanks ECC for at least giving me a partial idea of the HOOPS issue.

Understand the one's choice of where and where not to do their business transactions.

Thanks again for the one HOOP.

Regardless of whatever "hoops" you have to jump through, PayPuke is a California based "anti-gun" tree hugging, run by jackass's company and I wouldn't give them the sweat off my berries if they were dying of thirst in the desert. Gee, do you want to know how I really feel about them? [B)][:(!][xx(][:(][V]
Actually they're in Omaha. They've got a bright, shiny building right off I-80.

I cancelled my account with them Last year when I heard of their stance on gun related items. When I emailed them to tell them I was cancelling, I told them that was the reason- Their attempt to suppress my constitutional rights.

Can anyone provide a link to support the issue of paypal being "anti-gun"?
All I get out of their fireams policy is that they are making sure a seller is legit. in order to cover their a$$.
    Taken from their site:
    PRE-APPROVED MERCHANTS
You may not use PayPal in the purchase or sale of firearms or ammunition unless the seller has received prior approval from PayPal. PayPal reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to permit its payment services to be used for the legal purchase and sale of certain firearms and ammunition regulated by this policy. Approval to use PayPal for the sale of certain firearms or ammunition will only be permitted after a thorough review of the procedures and controls the seller has in place in order to ensure transactions and shipments are conducted in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

If you or your business requires approval to engage in the sale of firearms or ammunition in accordance with this policy, please send your contact information and a brief summary of your business to:compliance@paypal.com.

My computer got hit by lighting about 4 years ago. By the time I got back on line I had changed e-mail addresses. I have not been able to retrive anything from my account for more yhen 3.5 years and they will not deal with me. Pay Pal is no pal of mine. They how ever are theives. By what right do they not only close some bodys account but seize your cash and keep it. This company is not a goverment nor are they FDIC insured.

I have been buying and selling online for several years and have never used their services. I was just asking for some proof to them being anti-gun.(other than a few old farts on here saying that they are)[:D]

I looked at your link and found nothing in there where paypal says they are anti-gun.
All I saw was an add for cardservice international, another paypal type co.

I enjoy using Paypal to pay for guns using a different subject when doing so.

Only did it a couple times and not with this nick!

    What nick did I use?
You won't foul me with those trick questions!
