What am I missing?
These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our
current government and cultural environment:
1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few
lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions
of a few lunatics. Funny how that works.
2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run
out of money. How come we never hear about welfare or food stamps
running out of money? What's interesting is the first group "worked
for" their money, but the second didn't. Think about it.....
and Last but not least,
3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our
military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but
we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.
Am I the only one missing something?

Looking at some 405 W brass on the auction side I see some "once fired" (meaning God only knows how many times it's been loaded) Hornady cases with a starting price of about $1.10 per case.
I see several dealers offering brand new Hornady brass in this caliber for $46-$49 per 50, or just about a buck apiece. Would anybody pay MORE for used stuff? Do the sellers know something I don't?0 -
Why so much for 4 mags? I think I would spend the money on a new gun.

The way I figure, who I am is no secret. I'm sure "the powers that be" already know what I HAVE so I'm going to give you the short list and ask you to name one gun that would give the small collection more "balance".

I was thinking about shaving my shekels and getting a 1911-type pistol with a budget of around $800 - $1000.

Also who has a gun like this and do you like it?0 -
Is this an M1A1? I guess I thought an M1A1 was a Thompson or a tommy gun.
Isn't this a M1 carbine?

The people of Crimea have apparently voted in almost 100% numbers to rejoin Russia. I understand that is not necessarily a good thing for our interests. But it sure seems to me like it's their right. What am I missing? 0 -
I'm guessing here, but at one time I believe I ran across some AK collectors discussing orange bakelite mags were rare in a certain cal. But I'm not sure if it was 7.62x39 or the 5.45x39.
He's also listing them as 45 rounders0
