Cell phone ring tones

What is your ring tone? I wanted a tone not many other people would use, so I downloaded the theme from The Good, the bad, and the ugly, there is no mistaking my cell when it rings.[:D]

My phone that I just replaced yesterday had "Save a horse ride a cowboy" on it.
But my phone that I just got will do alot more types of tones so I am going to find a better one for it. But I need to learn how to use it first.
I just now got done transfering my contacts so now it is time to play with it to learn it.
On a side note: I just found out yesterday that when you charge your cell phone you should shut it off! My old phone was haveing battery problems and while I was activating my new one they told me about this and we determend that the reason I had the problems is that I never shut the phone off even while charging.
I just gave my public service announcement for the day![:D]0 -

BS! Did the retards in the mall tell you that? That is not true - it does not hurt the cell phone or battery to leave it on while charging. It takes a little longer to charge but that is all.0 -

No the Tech people at Sprint/Nextel told me this info.
They explained that it kinda over loads the phone as it is trying to do to much at one time between searching for towers (my phone has to contact 2 towers at one time because I am on Sprint for phone and data and Nextel for walkie talkie) and charging and what ever else it is trying to do.
If it had been the people at the mall I too would have questioned this info. But like I said these were the full blown tech people who have a little more knowladge.0 -
A good place to check out all the different ring tones is in a resteraunt while the people in the next booth are having a loud conversation on their phone. If you can hear your ring tones over their talking, you're good to go.[}:)][:D] 0 -
Still BS! I know a lot of techs, many of those suck. You CAN charge your battery with it on or off with no adverse effects, the phone was designed for this. They are wrong.

How do I charge my phone's battery?
New batteries are not fully charged. When charging the battery for the first time, charge the battery for 12 hours. If you charge the battery while it is in your phone, the phone can be either on or off.
To charge the battery while it is in the phone:
1. If necessary, attach an adapter plug to the charger.
2. Attach the charger to the phone. The connector is keyed and it can be inserted in only one way. Also, the connector snaps into place securely when it is properly inserted.
3. Plug the charger into an electrical outlet. In a few seconds, the phone beeps and displays that the battery is charging.
4. When the battery is fully charged, the phone displays ""Charge Complete."" (You can safely leave the charger connected to the phone after charging is complete. Neither the battery nor the phone will be damaged.)
5. When you are finished charging the battery, press the top of the connector and then pull the connector away from the phone.
6. Unplug the charger from the electrical outlet.0 -

It depends on what make and model phone you have as to whether you should shut it off when charging. Our old radios at the Dept. were Motorolas and had no problems but when we changed to Kenwoods the company rep. told us that if we charged them while they were on that it would kill the battery. I figure since they use the same battery technology as cell phones it makes sense.

Mine makes a noise when it is being called.
I didn't have to pay extra for it.

NOTE: I have had cellular phones for about 17 years. I have never shut any of them off when charging, and have never experienced any problems AT ALL. That is about 25 phones for all the family.

Mine didn't come with regular ring,I don'tknow what noise that is.
My brother was havin trouble with his phone,the kid behind the counter told him he waqs wearing his pants to tight.he asked for the manager,the manager told him his pants where to tight.He's 50 yrs. Anybody else heard that?0 -
