Actually Im going to go to the workforce office today. Trying to get them to pay for the rest of my training to get my A&P license. Then I'll be kicked back for the rest of the day.

    Welcome to my world![:D]

I have not worked in almost 3 years, and it does get very boreing. You just have to find things to do.

I am lucky enuff to be able to go in my back yard to shoot so I do a bit of that. I can shoot .22lr all day and not spend hardly any money.

Just watch your money as when you have nothing to do it can go quick.

if you have a person in the household that you trust, and a limited or non existant self control, have them take all your credit and debit cards to wor every day for a while. if not, find some other way to not be able to access them easliy. being laid off, out on injury, long term vacation. is all the same. when im in that position, and i currently am, i sit at my comp. when im bored and on my comp, i buy stuff. lots of stuff. nothing too major in price, but a butt load of little purchases add up and come the end of the month, i have spent real money on stuff i really really dont need. but thats me. no self control. if thats not you, more power to you.....

thanks for the concern guys. going to the work force was a joke. went there to get a face to face. and what do i get, "You need to come back wed. to the seminar." Jeesshh I could have done that over the phone. talked to a lady and she could not answer my question, she also called a few colleages. so now i have to go back wed.
My question was on schooling. they will pay for someone to go through a 2 year course to get a Airframe and Powerplant certificate. Ive already talked to the FAA and i have enough experiance to clep the test. trying to find out if the will pay for a crash course so i can pass the written test. the oral and practical i should have no problem doing. but knowing what t's to cross and i's to dot on a written exam is differant. I havent been in school in over 20 years.
