HK P7 PSP
Im thinking of getting one for concealed carry. They have grade a and b. Is there much of a difference?? How do they shoot???

They shoot great and if someone else gets ahold of it chances are they wont know how to fire it. They are a little heavy though. 0 -
It has to do with the condition of the gun, like the finish any marks or wear. Not how they shoot. I was looking at those on Gunbroker. Looks like that guy bought a bunch of them. 0 -
There were a bunch of police turnins sold a couple of years ago, I suspect these are the same.
Get the A.
They are great carry weapons and I seem to shoot mine quite accurately...

Yes the A grades are worth the 750.00 and will only go up in value.
If I wanted a p7 for daily carry though I would buy the Bgrade. The Bgrade is functionally every bit as good as the Agrade but will have more scuffs and scratched which is what will happen if it is getting used anyway.
If I wanted one for a collectable that will only sit and appreciate value and maybe take to the range once in a while I would get the A grade.0 -
I suppose if I were in the market I'd get the "B" and have it re-finished with modern goodies (Hard Chrome or some Teflon jobbie). I hear they now have "Black" chrome finish that would be cool. 0 -
As far as I can tell like others have said they vary on their finish. My cuz got a "B" grade and while its finish is worn somewhat the innards appear in excellent condition with little wear and tight springs. If I were gettin one for myself it'd be a "B" grade and be sent off for hard chrome. 0 -
These are very nice, accurate, quick to action, compact carry pistols. H&K has stated the difference in grading is the usage, not the finish. Some grade "A"s are rougher than "B"s, but the round count or time in service is less. Until the "Saxony" dump these were going for $800 and up. A grade B pistol is available for $599 from a well known seller and grade A for $675. If you find mags less than $50, buy them.

Great trigger on mine..you get used to shooting it pretty quickly.
Note..use FMJ ammo ONLY...these have a gas system in them. No lead.0 -

That reminds me one of the local P.D. didn't know much about the guns (new issue or what not)were test firing them with lead. It got ugly fast.
Also the cocking action is loud. A cop had one of those and both of them went in to a warehouse on a call. So both of them take different direction and half way in dude with the P7 tighten up his grip. Which scares his partner enough to call out "that better be you" (refering to his partner[:D]).0 -
