Anyone know if you can buy 20ga barrel assembly that will go into the 12ga receiver. in other words do they interchange? That Would ROCK.

I have seem similar, I think they where called little skeeter ga reducers? I thought that if Ruger made a 20 ga barrel assy that would drop into a 12 ga frame I would do that instead of what is pictured there.

Most people want a 20 gauge frame to be smaller so it is lighter and scaled to the barrels. The Red and Gold Labels (like most modern doubles) are too heavy already. A 20 guage on a 12 guage frame would be a Glockbrick and not likely to sell.

No the Ruger 20 to 12 swap will not work. Ruger would not sell any 20 guages if it would.

If I remember right from my buddys rantings, He has told me that ruger made a differant frame for every guage. So to answer your question NO.
