School shootings are so bad because of gun laws.
That's right because of laws against gun owners school shootings are as bad as they are, Why?
Because its against the law to carry a firearm on school property even with a permit.
Jees you mean to say when those people went on school property and started shooting people they were breaking the law? Go figure
And because all the good law abiding students/faculty were not carrying and legally couldn't it got as bad as it did.
It sure is a good thing the police got there in a timely manner to stop the slaughter.....
Oh ya that's right the cops didn't stop it the shooter/shooters decided they had enough and killed themselves.

End semi rant, I just had to say that somewhere because I just really get sick of this crap.
Weather its the news people blaming the shooting on violent video games, violent movies, rap music, any music, comic books, D&D, gun laws. Whatever the fact of the matter is the person/persons were just deranged and would have done it regardless of the tools, or stimuli they may have had at a previous time.
The biggest issue is, schools are not safe, and the laws make it that way. If 1 out of every 100 students/faculty in any of these schools were armed there's a good chance that less deaths would occur.
Gun laws certainly didn't help those kids in Russia when terrorists decided there school was an easy target, the funny thing is our schools are just as good of targets. Yet they haven't attacked our schools yet, you think if a terrorist walked into one of our schools the death toll would be as small as 30? I don't
So why isn't there legislation in the works to protect our schools give the students/faculty the possibility to defend themselves, make it legal to carry in a school with the proper licensee or if common sense ruled no licensee.
Those are just my thoughts and if you know of a petition or legislation that would get rid of this no guns in schools BS please post about it so I can sign it or help push it through I really think this is one of the biggest threats to our countries safety right now.
Not because of kids going on a rampage but because it would be so easy for terrorists. As demonstrated by these deranged kids who have no knowledge of explosives, tactics, etc etc etc unlike terrorists..
