    I can't believe the bid is up to like $15,000. You could buy a MP-5 or M-16 for that. That just sums up the mentality of our world.

    Letters all look official, and the organization reportedly selling it is "Activists for Animal Rights." Sounds like it would be right up Bob's alley to donate a microphone to that organization for fund raising. Doesn't say anything about it being "the mic Bob Barker used for his last taping" or anything. Why wouldn't it be real?

    If it was/is legit, then why no link the site of the so called charity?..

    Why was nothing mentioned on the show?...and being that barker is supposed to be sooooooo animal rights oriented, then surely he would have mentioned the auction...

    Also, if you do a search for the group, the name used in the auction, others come up with animal rights activists, BUT NOT activists for animal rights...

    heres a thought, he used more than one guaranteed. as said, this isnt necessarily the one he used for a special episode or anything, just one of the ones he used, making it damn near meaningless.
