Are Gun Grabbers Defeating Themselves?
The days of slipping the Firearm Restriction Laws in under the radar are all but over.
I truly beleive the internet is a very powerful method of keeping the gun grabbers in check. No time in history have so many Americans from all over the US been able to relay warnings and information about the Stupid Laws that Stupid politicians come up with.
I wonder if by them trying to pass these worthless laws (like HR1022) they are in turn creating a Pro Gun Force that can rally to the cause on the internet in a few minutes time is becoming more then they will be able to overcome.
They used to slip the laws in at night in the last minutes when there was nothing no one could do.
The Zumbo debachle is another example of how Pro Gun Americans can use the internet to rally at a moments notice.
I hope that all makes sense. It does to me.

I too hope that is the case, the internet sure opens a lot of doors and moves news fast. It is so important that we all organize in some mannor to go after these socialist progressive anti-gun banannas and pin them to the floor for the count.0 -
They still don't understand that their anti-gun stance will bite them in the rear. It hurt them in 2000 and in 2004. The only reason they have gained ground is the war in Iraq. If they start messing around with our second amendment rights again, they are just shooting themselves in the foot. 0 -
MVP, I hope you're right. 0 -
How did you get this kind of information before the internet?
How long did it take?
Most of the time, wasn't it AFTER a draconian law was passed.
Makes sense to me, and I LIKE it. [:D]
Let them know, we ARE watching YOU.0 -
spread the word, we can stop them if we all do our job. 0 -
IF all the gun owners would get off their lazy asses and vote we wouldn't be having any of these problems to start with. All our problems are due to people that would rather lay on the couch at home than go vote and then come on these gun forums and complain. If a person don't vote they don't have a say in anything!

It would help if Some Gun Owners ran for office also[;)]0 -
I agree, the internet has become a very valuable tool for all of us. I used to not pay as much attention and if I wasn't on this forum, I'd still probably be missing a lot. This forum alone helps spread the news about these bills. What amazes me is that these elected officials are going to work every day, proposing bills, debating, voting on them and either passing or rejecting them. The average public has NO idea what these people are doing every day and many wouldn't even care! The tv should be a valuable resource too. You'd think there would be a channel saying what different levels of government have on their agenda for the day, but there's not.
Sure, I get channels for the HR and Senate, but what are they? Only mind numbing tv that would put anybody to sleep in 30 minutes as they talk and talk about virtually nothing. The channels give me no idea on what bills are on the agenda. They're not even in the news. You have to dig to find this material! If not for this forum, I wouldn't find out about nearly 100% of the bills being proposed. It does seem strange.0
