You just click on the button above the reply you want to quote.

Its the third one from the left with the arrow in it, fourth if you're quoting yourself.

Or just copy and paste the part you want to quote....

There is a box you click to get quote thingies, but you can also do it yourself...[q uote] [/q uote] and insert what you want inbetween the two quote things...(no spaces...space was inserted between q and the u so it would show up)

Please dont get like others and quote EVERYTHING the other person says EVERYTIME you reply to the same thread....Half the time one cant know what the poster is saying cause its all tied up in the "reply with quote"...its also a waste of space, also very very annoying to have the same thing over and over and over with maybe a 'yea' at the end of it...

please, please, PLEASE dont link together all the replies to a running conversation between you and other posters. this creates hellaciously long posts and is just down right annoying. quote the post that you are replying too and then your response. then, when someone replies to you, they should only quote your post and they reply. i, along with many others here, cant stand it when you link every reply to date. and just to top it off, lots of folks will do that, and then add "agreed" or "+1" or something else in kind. AAAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!

    [rant]

and another thing that agrevates me. someone posts a picture. you want to make reference to what you saw in the picture so you hit the quote button, write in your post and post it. so now the picture is in the thread twice. and then the op writes back to you using the quote button. so now that same pic is in the thread three times, and we've only just begun!!!!!

just write the persons name/call sign at the beggining of your reply. that way the less fortunate among tghe population still using dial up(not me but i know there out there) dont have to spend 11hours loading the SAME picture over and over again
