what is the most common side arm among the posters here?
i am thinking that the 1911 is probably the one i see listed the most.
the reason for my interest is i was thinking about makeing a set of grips for a give-away.
this is once my ability prooves good enough to satisfy ME as being good enough for distribution to the masses (so it may be a while yet! [:(])
so is 1911 grips a good choice so as many good folks as possible might benefit?
and what type of wood? good old walnut (with nice figureing of course)
let me know so i can start looking for wood suitable for the event!

  I'm pretty sure that everyone has atleast one Loricin 380 and two High Points they carry everywhere they go. Of course, they'll never admit it.
  Just kidding. My vote is really for the S&W J frame.

  I'd go with the 1911 style grips. Seems most popular.
