The question is , "Which do you support?"

    More gun control, 30%

    More gun rights, 55%

    Neither, 15%

One can look at the "neithers" as leave it the same as now, but not more gun control. Which would give you 70% against more gun control.

    My thinkin' anyways.

"Those kinds of things make me say, `Yeah, we should have tighter gun control laws," she said. "Yes, I would like to see them tightened."
    (from the article on msn)

I think before people can vote in these polls they should have to know what "gun control laws" even consist of.

It's amazing how much time and effort has been put into discussing the weapon used. There are much deeper issues going on here to consider. The guy slipped through the cracks and they paid for it.

The way things are now, if things don't change, I don't believe it could be prevented again.

The anti-gun people think that every gun owner is a ticking time bomb, waiting to go off. It's just plain ridiculous. If that was the case, the U.S. would be in real chaos now. Not an imaginary, out of control population.

Around the world, the people act like their government and the police are super human. The rest of the citizens are second rate, unable to control themselves. They think they will always have their best interest in mind forever and no concern for safety in their own home. They want to be controlled. It is pretty scary that they desire this and are thankful for it.

For a free nation, with any law abiding citizen having the ability to buy nearly any weapon they please, I think it's a very peaceful place compared to what you see around the rest of the world. Namely Africa and the like.
