actually, 90% of the africans from africa that I've met don't like the "gangsta" culture. these guys aren't gangstas, they just don't know how to shoot a gun.

I've worked with Somalians and Ethiopians before at one of my summer jobs... very friendly and hardworking people. They cant understand the gangsta culture, and I was amused when one of them quietly asked me whether I could understand "African Americans" or not (i.e. could I understand ebonics). I replied no, and he just nodded and said neither could he.
Its pretty sad that a Somalian immigrant has a better command of the english language than some of the natives...0 -
black africans speak far better english than black americans 0 -
What I find even funnier is the fact that so many people, when comparing pistol grips to conventional stocks on rifles, always bring up the fact that a pistol grip "can be used to shoot around corners."
Yet we make fun of people who employ a pistol-gripped rifle in that very manner.

i find it funny that some of you could differentiate these guys from some Africans you have met because they spoke intelligent, and legible, some say they are intelligent because they do not like ebonics, but do not realize they are intelligent enough to pretend they are white in your presents
i never met a black person that could not drop the ebonics in a room full of whites0
