    That is a horrible sight.

I believe I will have nightmares tonight.
Just think, if they would have given me ONE DAY to sort through those stacks and just rescue fifty or so.....

the only consoling thing I can think of is:

Much bigger than just the loss of guns...

It is most likely the beginning of a dictatorship and an end to freedom for a lot of people....

    That must not happen here...ever!!!!

Pure sin! Looks to be some third world country. Why would'nt they cut a cash deal with one of the many military surplus gun distributers here in the U.S.?

Got to have the fire to send home the hopelessness of trying to defend their freedom of course....

what freedom are you talking about? the savages don't have the concept of freedom anymore. you're trying to apply your ideals to a culture and ideology that doesn't even have such a concept as personal freedom. what's so hard to understand...

...Sickening. I've seen others where guns were run over with asphalt rollers, dumped in the ocean, fed to the smelter, and run through a car shredder. A lot of them may be junk, but you just know that there are a few historically significant, irreplaceable guns in those piles. Even lacking that, no good can come from such a display.

...Funny how during peacetime this type of thing occurs. BUT when the bababooeys in the fire who do they cry for to come and save them!!? Guess they'll never learn ...and we'll have to keep paying the price!

This is certianly a part of the Hurricane Katrina and New Orlean's story we were not allowed to see within the greater U.S.

I'd always wondered what had happened to all of those legally owned, yet illegally confiscated firearms..... I guess now I know. [}:)]

I'm not sure exactly where that is taking place, but I can assure you of one thing. The government and the terrorists/criminals will still have their guns and other weapons to use against the now unarmed, peaceful, civilians.

As always happens, only the peaceful, lawful citizens will be left without weapons and therefore defensless.

That is a very odd way to try and stack any pile of guns.

Destroying anything that you think will make someone powerful...only means you don't understand what power is.
