Amazon.con question.
Amazon.com question.
Do any of you have an amazon account?
Is it worth it to get one?
What are their payment meathods (pay-puke.... CC card.... money order)?
Better than e-puke?

I love amazon and use it quite regularly. My tastes in music are so varied that I can never seem to find everything I want to pick up at a particular spree without going to several different specialty stores and the entire process takes way too much time.
I can order everything I need/want from Amazon and it usually gets here faster than it takes me to shop everywhere for the same variety.

I like Amazon. I normally pay by gift certificate code and credit card if I don't have enough in certificates. 0 -
Amazon is way better than EBay. I use my check card and I haven't had any problems at all. It is definitely worth it.
Was the amazon.con in the subject line intentional? I rather enjoyed that. [:D]0 -

Buy lots of music, movies and some electronics from Amazon. Have an account and card on file. Usually buy from the other vendors through Amazon. Much cheaper usually and you can get good used CDs and DVDs that way. 0 -
I've been using Amazon for over 5 years and nobody does it better. Household. Small appliances. Tools. Music. In most cases, their prices are among the lowest you'll find and you can usually get free shipping too. 0 -

Sorry to disappoint you Huntingnerd33; that was a typo and not intentional......................... Although with all the fraud now a days, it may seem like it.0 -
bought stuff from amazon in the past when I found it cheaper there than anywhere else. never had a problem with them. They take credit/debit cards which is how I always pay. 0 -
I've used Amazon.com on a number of occasions. It works allot like Barnes&Noble.store, but you don't have to stumble over allot of keishquiche-eating wannabe sophisticates in order to buy a book.
I do not understand why getting an account would be worth it. Use your CC.
edit: - corrected spelling of quiche for He-Dog. DM0 -
What do you have against quiche? 0 -

Recently used Amazon to buy something that basicaly, I couldn't find
elsewhere. Seemed ok for that. I tried it a couple times as a sales
venue, but their format is a bit more troublesome than I wanted to
bother with..very complicated.0 -
fantastic place to shop. they have a previously unheard of selection of items. they do that, fyi, by not actually selling all the products in their catalog. they are a clearing house for anybody that wants them to sell their wares. you buy from amazon. they buy from other retailer, but have it shipped to you. for that they get a percentage. thats why you see "Ships from and sold by xxx" on some of their pages. less invertory on hand means less space needed for the operation and so on. bulk sales to the retailer mean discounts to amazon which ends in lower prices. brilliant. wish id thought of it 0
