    Mother's

    Meguiars

    Black Magic

That is my choice in order

I wax the vehicles after the salt is off the roads, again in May and August, and again before winter comes back.

    [8D]--MOTHERS "California Gold" carnuba--

--I use it twice a year and it protects the paint from brush/tree scratchs when off-road--

--My X is not exposed to sun except on trips--

Meguires SEALER first. It is a synthetic sealer that fills the pores in the paint. Then Meguires wax or mothers wax. If the paint surface is rough, then use a medium cut polish first with a random orbit polisher.

    Turtle Wax Ice

Very easy to put on. Can even get it on moldings and plastic without the white hazing.

The more "Carnuba" in it, the better and longer it'll work.

I've used Classic since it was introduced, maybe 30 years ago.

    It continues to work.

I drive 25 year old cars I get for almost nothing I don't give a bondie what they look like as long as they run good, and they do,another good thing about 80.s era cars is they are easily repaired.
They are not rust buckets either,if you have cash you can pick up cherry stuff by being in the right place yada. Also insurance is so f'en cheap when you have no deductible you may not believe it.

Whatever I have on hand. I got a bunch of Whatawax from my grandpa's basement. Been using that. Must be 50 years old. Nufinish. Kwik. Whatever, like I said.

How often? When the rain don't bead up no more.

The best I ever used was an AMWAY product called Silicone Glaze.

Back in the 70s Meguires had Mirror Glaze on the market, it was the bestyou could buy then. You can purchase their current products and have good results but they will never replace the original product.
    Mothers is a close second.
