Gold price skyrocketing.........

Precious metals prices are going through the roof. Gold over $800/oz, Silver more than $15/oz, Platinum almost $1500/oz. Meanwhile it takes almost $100 to buy a barrel of oil. The dollar is going in the tank! Greenspan knew when to get out.

    That is great.
    Some years ago I bought 5 K-Rands at $350.
    A few years later, in dire financial straits, sold them at $300.
    Buy high, sell low, I say.

    I sure wish I still had them, those gold coins are some beautiful things.

    Allen, you are like most stock investors, they buy high and sell low. Try it the other way, you know, buy low and sell high, I hear it works better that way, not sure why.

    Guess it is time to sell some old wedding rings. Let's see, was it seven or eight...

    I looked at gold briefly, about 4 years ago. I've been watching it clime ever since. Guess I should have invested. Oh well, I did the same thing with Google 2 years back, for some reason bought Alcoa instead.

    How high will these prices go? They aren't even talking about it on the news yet. They will keep going up until people start selling old wedding rings and such. Then the party will be over.
