brought home my first lot of "guns with issues" today.
all have some issue that prevents good function, but i started on the "worst" one tonight and it wasnt near as bad as i thought.
the list of temporary guests is:

Win. M 100 in .308 Win W/Weaver 2.5-7 scope
J.C.Higgins M 20 12 ga pump (which some jerk cut down to barely legal)[:(!]
J.C.Higgins M 583.21 16 ga bolt
Mossberg M 640KD in .22 WMR w/Tasco 3-9x40
Stevens M 56 .22 S.L.LR.
N.E.F. M SBI Pardner 12 ga single

so i hope to make the needed repairs, some stock refinish on some and start my "career on the auction side!

  other than REALLY needing a re-blue and stock refinished, i havent had the chance to check this one out. picked them up on the way home from work, got home just in time for dinner, and tore down the .308 right after.
  someone else tried to get it apart (the wrong way) and lost the hammer and trigger springs as well as all the stock screws.
  its real problem was just crud and some rust freezeing the piston.
  should have that one done in a couple days when i locate some springs for it, then start another.
  may go through and see which ones are just cosmetic and strip and polish them to go to the bluer, at least it will clear some space to work[^]
  will try to get at least a group shot of the 5 that arent in peices tomorrow now i gotta pass out a couple hours
