Rossi 38 Model 68 Grips

I recently got a Rossi Model 68, .38 revolver. It seems to be a sound gun, but I just don't like the feel of the grips. Is there anyway to modify other small frame(S&W J-frame or such) grips to fit the Rossi without major smithing, or would it be worth it to just take it somewhere?

  best bet would be to take the grips to someone who could modify them to what you want.
  be specific as to how they must be changed to fit your hand, thicker at this spot, heavier here etc.
