just ignore me if you want, but i need to vent...
part of my job is checking items that are dumped on company property.
had one today that might get interesting...
about 60 lbs of porn, not playboy stuff, "enema debutantes" was the title of one tape and worse.
one computer printout (with site address) i am sure is no 18 yrs old,
and a bunch of others showing graphicly small animals being smashed by women in spike heals...one may have been a newborn pup.
so in addition to the possible $700 illegal dumping fine, we have possible animal cruelty and another possible, child porn.
then there is the possibility of retaliation by the individual if this comes to the attention of family members who dont know about it when the cops come knocking.
so i have to wait till i can get hold of the boss to see if he wants to go through with the report and whatever comes of it, includeing maybe property damage in retaliation, or pretend it never happened and just throw it all in the dumpster[V]
yes i do have numerous envelooes in the bag with the cruds name and address on them, people are too stupid to not include such evidence most of the time
i know how i would do it, but it ihas to be up to the guy who pays the bills

If the stash included child porn, then it should be turned into the police. Animal cruelty is bad, but "kiddie porn"...... somebody needs to get beat down for that. 0 -

I concur. Animal cruelty and kiddie porn are the desires of a sick mind. It gives wholesome man/woman porn a bad name. 0 -
you need to do the right thing, no matter what your boss says. just think, if you do nothing there will be some sicko out there that will most likely start molesting children if he isn't already. same with the animal cruelty, it's not as bad as kiddy porn but I think its close. just my 2 cents 0 -

Even if "the boss" prefers not to press charges for other things, the evidence(potential) needs to be yurned over to the police!

I agree that you should turn it over to the police directly. That's some bad stuff and your boss should not be the one to decide that. You'll be doing the right and responsible thing. 0 -

Copies, like from the internet?
Store bought tapes?
Other than the illegal dumping, are they illegal tapes?

Regardless of where the tapes originated, they need to be turned in to authorities. Let them sort it out. Tf they belonged to that guy, he should answer for them. Let's just hope he ends up with more than therapy.0 -
