How to warn someone.
I have turned in a fraud ticket, and tried to email 2 different bidders (up to 3 now) about a pistol that someone is trying to sell, but is misrepresenting.
The individual tried to sell the pistol to me, but luckily for me I spend alot of time on a forum where he tried to sell the pistol in question, and actuall shipped the pistol, but the ffl stepped in, and sent it back.
You can read about the whole ordeal here

he also had it posted over on {elsewhere}, but they pulled it this morning.
I dont know what else to do. Im just trying to warn as many people as I can. He also has a no return policy in his auction. So he knows he is going to pull one over on someone.
Maybe a mod, or admin here can show this to someone that can do something about it.
MoBeretta,
I'm glad that Admin answered your inquiry. I am moving this over to General Discussion. Please check your e-mail.
Best.

Looks like the gun is for sale here.

yes that is the one. If you check the S/N with the S/N in the post over on beretta forum you will see that it is in fact the same pistol. 0 -
What is wrong with the pistol?[?] 0 -
quote:The gun was represented as "mint." It was not even close to that. The front sight was loose, the gun has seen a LOT of rounds down its pipe and the major problem - the slide has significant vertical slop and more than ordinary, expected, horizontal slop. The slide easily rocks on the frame laterally. You can visually see the slide rise when pulling the trigger in SA mode (dry-fired on a Snap-Cap). 0 -
if you think you will get any help here you are sadly mistaken [:(] 0 -
got as much help here as I think I could have.
Admin gave me email infor for the admin for the main gunbroker site, but from there all I got was that its between the buyer and seller.
Kind of sad really, but I think I have done all I can. I have this same information posted on every beretta website I could find. One of the first bidders did actually find out about this, and thankfully got out bid. The high bidders username is also on ebay so an email was sent to him. Hopefully its the same person.0 -
The auction has ended with the pistol sold. What was/ is the problem with the pistol? Inquiring minds want to know. 0
