    yes that is the one. If you check the S/N with the S/N in the post over on beretta forum you will see that it is in fact the same pistol.

The slide easily rocks on the frame laterally. You can visually see the slide rise when pulling the trigger in SA mode (dry-fired on a Snap-Cap).

    got as much help here as I think I could have.


    Admin gave me email infor for the admin for the main gunbroker site, but from there all I got was that its between the buyer and seller.

    Kind of sad really, but I think I have done all I can. I have this same information posted on every beretta website I could find. One of the first bidders did actually find out about this, and thankfully got out bid. The high bidders username is also on ebay so an email was sent to him. Hopefully its the same person.

    The auction has ended with the pistol sold. What was/ is the problem with the pistol? Inquiring minds want to know.
