.40 VS 9mm
Im just looking to compare ammo prices, any one have any idea on which two brands are comparable. I saw a case of 9mm CCI gold dot fo 299.95 for the 9mm and then i saw a case of Sellier Bellot .40 for 259.99. are they comparable?

What was that cannon like a .22?0 -
9mm recoil is wimpy. if there was a .25 ACP-size gun shooting a 9mm, recoil would be good and strong, about as much as you could handle.
because it's fun to shoot a gun with lots of recoil
that would be something worth having, wouldn't it!
keep on guessing, you'll get it right some day.0 -
A 9mm is fine for paper punching, but is hopelessly ineffective as a defensive round. Get a cheap 9mm and burn up all of the cheap ammo you can get, but have a good .40 S&W for serious encounters.
Good luck

old fool, great advice, ill satisfy my need for a new handgun with a 9mm glock, and then bank some more money and get the .40 glock later! 0 -

Well, how bout a S&W M&P in .45 ACP?
Better ergonomics and trigger than a Glock 21 IMHO
45 ACP better round than 40S&W IMHO
Downside, the Smith holds 10 vs. 13 in the Glock 21
No fan of 40, but I see where you guys are coming from re: 9mm0 -
Walmart is still pretty cheap. 0
