several times, I've come across sellers at their table that couldn't care less if anybody looked at their stuff. nobody was, either.

lack of sales didn't bother them...

Lot of the "Dealers" dont care if they sell or not. We have a guy that comes to our clubs "gun show" with only one gun, same gun every time. He dont want to sell it but he usually winds up taking a bunch of guns home he bought from the "Floor peddlers" ..[;)]

Classic - that is exactly what I have always thought. The dealers do not make their money on what they sell at the gunshows, they make their money on what they buy from the individuals carrying in. I was walking around a show couple of years ago primarily looking for a Browning Buckmark rifle. I was about 60 feet from the front entrance when I saw a guy walk in the door with one. I started heading his way and he stopped at the first table. I eased up to the table and heard the dealer say to the effect that the Buckmark rifles were too plentiful and the bottom of them had dropped out. He told the guy he might get $175 out of it from someone else but he would give him $160 for it. I had to bite my tongue while the guy signed a "bill of sale" to the dealer. Probably an hour later, I walked by the table again and the dealer had it marked $450.

    Attn. Gunshow sellers.
If you want to sell stuff at gunshows keep the bull/shooters away from your tables. Many times I have wanted to look at and buy stuff you have for sale, but you always have a bunch of bull/shooters yacking about nothing and blocking your sales tables. Many times I have heard sellers at the end of a show complaining they about the lack of money they made. Many of you sellers are just as guilty of bull/shooting.You are there to sell gun related items.I paid good money to come in and buy stuff, not to listen to a bunch of bull/shooting about your power stroke diesel pickup.Am I right buyers ?

If that is true, why are the General Discussion and Political Forums here always loaded up? Don't people just come here to post about guns?

What is even worse is when two or more attendees stop in front of my tables to converse, argue, compare guns, advise, etc. without so much as a "by your leave," showing no interest in me or my wares, but keeping other passersby from being able to see them. Sometimes they will even do a trade while keeping customers from my tables.

Sometimes, I had to ask them (nicely) to move on down the aisle.

People attend gun shows. People are rude. It figures that rude people are going to show up at gun shows.

Had to tell a guy to move along once. He had on new bib overhauls and shiny shoes and wanted to know where I kept my full autos or if I knew where he could obtain one. Hummm, wonder who he was ?

Well I'm sure that is part of the "commaradity" of going to a gun show. I think it should be fun for people to talk about their hobby also. Most of the time the dealers stuff is way overpriced anyways. Occassionally I may find something of interest. If you don't like gun shows or the peole at them:
    1. Stay home, let the big boys go instead- you can stay home and cry to momma.
    2. If you think the customers are a rude at the gunshows and stand in front of your precious table or are in your way- politely ask them to move. If you are not patient- refer to step one.
