Would you knowingly purchase a Browning salt gun?

I do not think I would but see them for sale.

  Just repaired an Olympian 7mm Mag. A spot about the size of a quarter was under the barrel (couldn't see it when assembled) and the cross bolts were rusted. Cleaned her all up and blued, then sealed the wood. Looked factory new.
  
  Customer wanted to sell it without anyone knowing (dishonest) so I made it where when inspected somebody would know. Found out after the repair so I had to go back and make a SMALL/MINUTE tell tale sign.
  
  Nice gun, never fired, but I don't believe in pulling the wool over peoples eyes. It is what it is. I would buy it in a heart beat, but not at the price he is asking.
