Any of you use or have any experience with Jitterbug phones and service? (jitterbug.com). Know about any ultra simple cell phone models other than jitterbug for seniors?

    Most of the big cell companies have programs for Seniors, and/or budget plans for about $10 per month.

    Get a Virgin Mobile phone! If its for emergencies, or just a vehicle phone, or if your not talking much!

    You can buy one for 20$ tops, then put 20$ on it every 3 months, and it stays activated.

    I have one, really cool.

    Problem is their coverage sucks! Most any cell carrier has "pre-paid" plans. Just have to find what works best in your area. But I think mrs102 is looking more for a simple, easy to use phone without all the bells and whistles that companies put on them today. You know, kinda like the phone I had back in 1988!

    I'm looking for a cell for my oldest brother. It has to be simple or he won't use it. The jitterbug looks and sounds simple enough. All the major cell companies seem to sell are bells and whistle phones. He might even use a simple kids phone that is preprogrammed with four or five numbers if it didn't look to "juvenile", but I haven't seen any of those around for a while either. I'll check into Virgin. I think we have one of them in the area.
