GM to spy on you
General Motors has announced that, starting with the 2009 model year, their cars will be equipped with a GPS locator and a system that will allow any LEO to shut your car down (whether he is on duty or not, or acting legally or not). Big Brother is coming to your car[:(!][:(!]
I would NEVER buy a car with such a built in spy system, much less one that lets people shut it down whenever they want (as in when your daughter is driving it).[:(!][:(!]

At least you can disappear with the cell phone. Pop the battery out, and you're off the grid.
Disconnect the antenna and they can't do much to you. Sucks to have to pull a new car apart to find the unit and disconnect it.0 -
