Because left handed people tend to be lower IQ, they will pay more for the same basic item as the more intelligent right hander.

The studies show this to be true.

Your starting to sound like Lowrider. Don

    Well HUGHBETCHA!!

Because if Left-handers are awarded special rights, then Right-handed, Left-Eye-Dominant shooters will want their special rights, too. Then the next thing ya know there will be left-Eye-Dominant couples living right next door to you, having their left-handed sex right on your lawn in front of your dog and children.

AND YOU DON'T WANT THAT, DO YOU?

    No. I didn't think so.
So think about this slippery slope you're on. The camel's nose is under the tent, my friend, and I don't think you want your child growing up in a world where Left-Eye-Dominant is considered "normal"
Bite me. [}:)] Yes, I do want that. I want my special rights. I want reparations. I want to be a special-class citizen.

I've spent too many years as a white, straight male. I found my loophole! GIMME GIMME GIMME!
Which is it that you want? The special rights, or the "Bite me"? I'm beginning to get worried about you.[}:)][;)][:D]

I'm right handed and Left-Eye-Dominant, and it would be nice to have at least ONE person, sometime, consider me to be normal.

Sometimes they are not. Single action revolvers are an exception.

Okay it's time I came out of the closet. I'm right-handed, left-eye dominant. I've always shot left-handed, even handguns, but since the holsters I want always seem to be RH, I've taken to shooting pistols ambi. I'm getting to where I can draw and fire right handed more accurately. So my drawing and firing exercises are right handed, but if I'm breaking out the big Smith or my 1911 to "play darts" with, I use my left hand.

LEFT handed people with RIGHT is as much an 02Moron as people in Australia that want to stand upright and not be upside-down.

    Colonel:

I'm also left-eye, right hand, and found that the easiest rifle for me to shoot is a scoped Garand. (see below) The offset required in the scope mount lines the scope perfectly with the left eye as my right cheek gently caresses the hard, oiled wood of the stock.

That there's a terrific idea. Unfortunately, your signature line explains my circumstances all too well. Nice looking Garand, by the way. Off topic a bit, I just got my Auto Ord outta the shop today. I'd been bragging about what a wonderfully accurate pistol it was. But, like a lot of less-expensive 1911's it shot loose after a couple of thousand rounds. Well, I've got access to a very good gunsmith here who tightened that baby up to better-than-new. Now I have to get out and practice shooting (right-handed) with it.
My gun guy tightened the slide, re-shaped the rails, fitted a new barrel bushing and put a new recoil spring in it. All for $100.00. It's going to take some shooting to get the stiffness out of it. It's like getting a new gun!

Spanielsells: I'm all over starting a RHSLED club. Since I'm awfully lazy and not very motivated, I nominate you for Prez.

Blah BLah Blah! The reality is that "THE MAN" is trying to hold us back! Lefties would rule the world if they didn't!![}:)]. I am ambidextrous and own mostly right hand bolt guns. I have picked up a couple of left hand ones when I can.

because like others said for the only lefty peice that they make out of a million it cost so much money to retool, and at the same time they are losing on rigt handed peice.

I've always had trouble with pistol shooting, be it auto-loading or revolver. Frankly my wife kicks my ass from .22 to .38 special, and we are about even using .357 mags. I am a little less recoil sensitive.

Being that you shoot pistols, and have the same disability as I, what have you done to adjust for sighting with the left eye when shooting with the right hand? I basically just end up rotating by body slightly clockwise to bring the left eye properly into position.

I have been looking for right-handed pistols with left-eyed sights, but every time I ask for it I just get a dumb look.

Is this [:(] the sarcasm icon? I hope so 'cause if you gave up your right arm you would have a VERY hard time doing anything with it![:D]

Same as you. I step forward with my left foot, rotate my torso slightly to the right and bring my right arm across my body some. I also seem to tilt my head a little to the right. I've gone from shooting way left to a bit left. I'm sure somebody with gobs of experience will have a suggestion for a better stance, but like I said, I'm improving.
Wife thinks I've got some stupid, adolescent Dirty Harry complex, but when I can't get to the range, I practice this with an unloaded pistol in my office. My brother, who is one of the most accurate point-shooters I've ever seen, told me that developing muscle memory is the key. At least I don't yell "Freeze, dirtbag!" with every draw.

When a rifle maker or anything that can be left or right handed has their machinery set up to run production for 10,000 items and they are playing catch up with demand now has to stop and set new left handed jigs and cutters up for a run of 500 left handed items that are not behind they are losing money that needs to be made up and the easiest way is to charge more for the left handed stuff.
    Hope that made sense.

    Yet.

Oh yeah? Have you seen the latest street price on left-handed pencils?
