Elected officials
Ever write to your congress person, telling them how you feel on a particular current issue, 2 weeks later get a form letter thanking you for your input on an entirley different subject? I wrote asking that something be done concerning illegal immigration and even suggested a possible solution and I get a form letter telling me of his comcerns on how our wounded veterans are not being treated properly at Walter Reed. Well I happen to be a disabled veteran and that subject is near and dear to me too but that isn't what I contcted him about. By the way, if we start taxing all those funds going to Mexico, say at 30% or 40%, it would greatly benefit our economy and we would be able to afford to pay for the illegals health and social "benefits"
What's with those folks? We send them to DC and it seems they loose interest in all the promises they made just a few short months ago and pretty much do as they please. Next year when he reuns for re-election, I believe I might have to attend a few of those "town meetings" and ask him in person and see how he can explain that away.
