Today was absolutely great....did NOTHING!!!!...
Or rather, did everything I enjoy doing and havent done in a long time...
Classic had a 4H kid trap fun shoot today and I wanted to go to the range since its been wayyyyyyyy tooooooooooo long since I had gone...
Got there at 8:30, dropped him off, and went down to the pistol range....FULL, so I decided to give it an hour or so and come back...off I went to find a few yard sales....Came back and was able to get into the pistol range with Classic joining me.... I shot my .45...ooooooooohhhhhh wow, I had forgotten how great that gun feels...then shot the high standard .22 (like it very much) ...
Went back to the trap range and Classic got into playing a few games with the kids (it was a fun shoot, not competition) but they sure cant beat him shooting trap....stayed till about 2:30 and came home....I am not going to let that much time go by again without going to the range..> Funny how you dont realize you miss it till you do it....
It was a very relaxing day, a very good day and one I want repeated...*LOL0 -
What, you didn't buy Classic three new 1911's at the yard sales for $8? You must have been off your usual shopping game BR.[}:)]

Cause it was raining off and on all day, so not to many yard sales..I have NEVER bought even 1(one) 1911 for 8 bucks never mind 3.... 0 -
I don't know, Classic is always showing off some fine thing you found for next to nothing at the flea market. Our flea markets are so bad you can't even get fleas, all made badly in China stuff. 0 -
I do buy him a lot but he buys me a lot as well...and yes the flea markets are great here, I love them....you cant get deals at gun shows anymore, so the flea markets are where a person can sell their stuff, and if you pay what they ask, you can get great deals...

I got next to nothing done today, except watching "In Harm's Way" and "The Longest Day", played with my daughter a bunch and prepped 150 rounds of 45ACP.
I've now got 650 rounds ready to load.
Tomorrow, I plan on maybe hobbling out to the loading bench and loading some of ther 45. This cold is not real kind on my bum foot.0 -
Been wantin to go trap shootin with a couple friends but been raining and to cold for that to be any fun for the last couple weekends. 0 -
Cleaned the house, better yet, got my daughter to clean her room, Mike is cooking dinner.......
It is a good day....0
