Brady Campaign/Mike Gallagher
Was on my way to work and listening to Mike Gallagher. He had Peter Hamm from the brady campaign on for an interview. Man these guy's are good. He kept talking about how they don't want to ban guns. Just "common sense" gun laws. He really sounded like a moderate that just wants some "sensible" rules and does not want to infringe on our right to bear arms. He said we need to find a middle ground and stop the easy access to guns but not eliminate them. He really sounded sincere and I think I'm going to send in a check to their organization.

Wrench, are you a nutcase? Send money to people who want to infringe on ownership?
The whole idea is to sound reasonable, but their agenda is nothing short of a complete ban.
Virginia already has one-a-month. Could the lack of conceal carry be in any way responsible?

It is not that easy. What they have in mind is a note from your Police Chief. What if the chief hates the idea of us commoners owning guns?

There really is no middle ground. They want laws for everyone well that simply does not work. Anyone should be entitled to a firearm unless some social norms have been infringed upon. 0 -

They are enemies but no fools. They know that this will take time which is why they are so quick to take advantage of trajedies and so forth. A right is either a right or a privilege. Come on guy's/gal's. I was being sarcastic. In no way, no how was I being serious about believing his line of B.S. and I would just as soon send a check to the PLO as I would those clowns. But, I bet that a lot of folks out there will fall for it and that is what we need to be concerned about. It's hard to be a sarcastic smarta$$ on the web.
