For me i'm having some homemade fried rice.
Very very simple recipe that I have made from many seperate recipes.
I am a very picky eater so add whatever else you like in fried rice.
Cook 1&1/2 cups white rice in 4 cups water. Then put it in the fridge until cold. This is very important.
Cut 1-lb of your choice of meats, pork, keilbasa, steak etc. into small pieces and cook until done.
Cook 6 eggs scrambled. I normally remove three of the yolks.
Combine the rice, meat and eggs. Add 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, 3 tablespoons lemon juice and 4 tablespoons soy sauce.
Heat again and mix all ingredients.
That's it.
If anyone tries it, tell me how you like it. Thanks0 -
We had fresh strawberry muffins , Beef roast, gravy, and home made egg noodles. scalloped corn cassaroll, lima beans and cold well water, Peach pie with vanilla Ice-cream for desert. Who wants seconds , hold up yer plate!

Crisped Prosciutto Bits/Broiled Chicken Breast strips, in a sun-dried tomato-garlic-cream sauce, over linguini noodles, with a nice Merlot, followed by Asian Plum Sorbet.
Later, some single malt (40yo) over one or two cubes of ice.
(we have this about twice a month, sometimes more often)0 -
