True, but Tony is a RACER. He's obtuse, abrasive, and, in general, a jerk.
But, he will drive the he!! out of it no matter what it is, if it had three wheels.

So if your not going to watch NASCAR anymore soly based on the fact that they have decided to run a few more japanese made cars.

    then

I have two question for you.

1-do you not watch basketball or baseball

    if so

    2-why?

they have japanese players as well

cuz if you do, that make you a hipicrit in my book.

Maybe you don't own one of the mentioned models but there are many parts on the GM vehicles that you currently own that are made both in Japan and China. Shhhhhh....don't tell anyone but GM currently has business relationships with both Toyota and Suzuki. Toyota North America and Chevrolet currently have an agreement stating that Toyota will sell/market a GM made vehicle in Japan with a Chevrolet logo on it in the near future (as part of the agreement).

I don't care what they drive....all of them look alike after 500 laps at Bristol. I watch to be entertained. Stewart, Mikey, and the others do that. I'll keep watching.

will drive a Toyota. Last year for me to watch Nascar. See ya..

Are you mad because Toyota's vehicles have the fewest problems within the first 100k miles or because of their superb customer service that made them the number one import car manufacture today, or because of their on going search for alternative fuel delivery to power the moter, or because of their cheap new car prices, or that they have the highest resale value of any car on the market, or because they haven't laid off any american workers in their shops like "America" (aka parts imported from mexico) auto makers are doing, or that they care about making a quality product, would you like me to keep going or are you just going face the facts and be a man about it.

You must have never been a real NASCAR fan to begin with if you not going to watch anymore, just a poser you are, nascar doesn;t need or want people like you supporting them anyways,

    good day[:)]

Gibb's Racing is not Michael Waltrip racing. Gibbs will succeed and so will Stewart. Maybe not right away, but soon. Doesn't matter to me, I'm a Rousch fan,.....poor me.[:(]

jap crap? even though toyotas are made in america, with american suppliers, by american workers. and if they are so bad, why is GM and ford trying to be just like them? they have just as much right to be there as any other car maker. i think you are just scared because you know they are better than GM and ford.

To be honest, I'm packing andrea's chit as we speak..... :)
I, far from a bandwagon jumper, have been a tony Stewart fan since his stunning late 80's early 90's perfomances at a little deal called the 'Copper World classic, as he literally won and ran to the next divisions lined up on the grid for the next feature. I don't think he's a jerk, he is the real deal. He's gonna tell you in the pre race deal that he's gonna 'spank them all, and send them crying to their mommas'......and then does regardless of what the Hendrick fellaciating sanctioning body thinks. me, I'm a ford fan by and large, but I gotta stand by my driver. Wanna bet that toyota takes a big upturn next year?

hate it but it's gonna happen......

I just wanna buy a pushrod V-8 toyota powered anything from a dealership from any year......[;)]

Yes, they will eventually get the rule book change to get the toyota's to run with the American hot rods. everything has to be PC to make sure they are equal. I am real proud of Nascar for selling out.

    Select Fire,

Don't drag Harley into this. Their bearings are made in Thailand and there are Chinese parts on those bikes now.

What do Americans admire about Toyota? They don't sell out their workers.

Toyota is schooling American manufacturers about competitiveness in the automobile manufacturing process allowing them to manufacture multiple cars on a single line. This enables them to react instantly to changes in demand. Toyota engineers have also enabled the manufacturers to use many of the same parts on multiple vehicles. All of this ads to efficiency and give America the cars it wants as tastes and demand changes in a "Just in Time" type of manufacturing process. This is a good thing. If Ford and GM won't innovate then someone else on our soil should do so if they can.

If you have a 1996 Toyota Tacoma and the power steering pump bearing goes out....

A 1996 Hyundai Elantra power steering pump bearing will fit the Toyota pump. (just have different housings for application)

How much does Ford, Dodge, and Chevy share to help each other?

My mother in law had the Elantra and the engine seized...was sitting in the yard. Her '96 Tacoma power steering pump was going out so I took it apart..whoda thunk. Fixed it for free with an old Hyundai part and the dang thing is still working.

If only Detroit was that smart.

I drive a 1999 Chevy Prizm with over 130,000 miles on it. Sofar, the only thing I've had to replace on it was the starter, although I think my alternator is about to give up the ghost.

If you popped the hood, you would see clearly stamped into the valve cover "Toyota Camrey."

  • ObiWan
Aren't those Geo Prizm's Isuzu powered?

  • Queen of Swords
OOps! Sorry...Should have been the Corolla, not the Camrey.
