I've seen numerous Cars, trucks, guns, women, rings, who knows what posted on here. I post up a few things and all **** breaks loose. Sorry if I offended anyone. BTW, I did not get the Vette tonight. It ain't the only one but just a tad more than I wanted to pay. When I do get another one... It is being posted. If you don't wanna look don't open the thread.

Seriously, I would expect no less from a landlord than that I would do for myself. I would also do no more for a tenant than I would do for myself. When calling balls and strikes, this is the rule I would go by. If I needed a new box and fuses, I would wait until Monday and bear it. This is freaking South Carolina. We are not talking about Northern Wisconsin here.0 -

SF, I did stick up for you, but someone thought it was offensive. It got poofed. I swear, I wasn't mean at all. I didn't even make reference to anyone posting here. All that was left was a small rant about me being too helpless to get off my happy rearend and get my own Cherrios.
How about this. When the very nice lady call 4-5 times during the night say:
1. There is a reason nobody likes you.
2. I know understand why you don't have yourself a man.

Not that there is anything wrong with being a slumlord. My lifes goal upon graduating from highschool was to someday be a slumlord. (Then I decided it was better to just go work for the government instead. Better pension.) 0 -

My wife is a slumlord. She owns a small apartment building that her grandparents gave her when she turned 21. She's been collecting rent for nearly 20 years and there have been times when it really helped us through the tight spots.
She comes from a family of slumlords. Her parents, all of her uncles and most of her cousins are slumlords. Her folks retired a couple years ago and her dad told me that last year, in retirement and only working once in a while to keep from getting bored, he made about $200,000.

You didn't offend me. I've had rentals and could now but choose not to. I wish you good luck, especially with that tenant. If you have a good waiting list you might do much better if your current tenant moves and you get a new tenant.0 -
