Happened to me in Kentucky,, I had 30 acres,, 2 acres wide and 15 acres deep,, Had a nice range on one side.. They built houses on the 30 acre tract next to my range so had to move it to the other side, damned if they didnt build houses on the other side and I had to shut my range down..[:(]

Go back and talk to them. See if atleast they will build you a backstop berm with the waste dirt so you can target shoot.

Where this is at I would not be shooting in the direction of the house even if they did build one.

Here is a crude drawing of my lot. I shoot in the direction of the arrow and they are clearing in the area of the green.

Well at least they are not in direct line of fire. Guess they'll just have to get used to the gun fire. The construction might even push more game on your property.

The guy who was hunting back there might be your new neighbor?
