  the strike has been top story of several saint louis news channels, i personally drove past 3 different truck stops, and all where packed to the limit, i pass them everyday they are never that busy, the roads are not barren but i did notice a decrease
  
  jbhunt was definitely not with the program, as well as some locals, just thought you may want to know

  dan, i am wondering if anything at all came out of the strike you had on the first. i saw what you said about mccain and taxes a couple of days ago, but it doesnt seem to me that is a victory at all. my parents own a fuel station/bulk delivery in north dakota and between my dad brothers and me we farm around 7000 acres plus a custom spray/spreading company so we are as affected by the high prices as you are. right now we are delivering off road tractor fuel for about 3.82 gallon, six years ago that was than a dollar. the high prices are starting to put the bulk fuel dealers out of business, a tanker load(8500) direct to a farmer used to cost 18000(our profit 170.00), now cost 30000(our profit 170.00), now imagine the fact that we get stuck with around 10% of our account receivable year after year and the fuel business on our level is not at all profitable. i am ranting but it is a widespread problem not just he trucking industry. in the farming industry i will still say the fuel price is a small part compared to fertilizer and chemical and rent,etc.
  
  i would appreciate comments and i want to know what dan little thinks of my rant, one of my brothers sells trucks and trailers and business has never been better for him, so i am wondering what is that bad with the trucking business now days, pick your jobs.

  I haven't forgotten about taking a look at them fenders you have. I just haven't had a run down that way.
  
  I did find some mounts for them though. www.iowa80.com sells them fairly reasonable. [8D]
  
  What was that URL for that Bull Haulers forum we talked about on the phone that one time?
