Teens Charged In Police Break-In
Two Madison County teenage girls are charged in connection with a break-in at the Mars Hill Police Department earlier this month. 16-year-old Ashley Hensley and 16-year-old Ashley Devane face a number of felony charges. Deputies say the girls were interviewed about another case, when some of their answers led investigators to file charges in this case.
Hensley is in the Buncombe County jail on $6,500 bond. Devane has been released. Hensley's mother told News 13 she was shocked when deputies searched her room for stolen items.
"They told us they had a warrant for her. She cooperated with them. She told them she done it and it was in her room," Lettie Hensley told News 13.
While deputies recovered some of the items taken in the break-in, but they are still looking for some drugs. They also say a counterfeit $100 bill was passed at a local convenience store.

MARS HILL - Deputies have arrested two teenage girls on charges they broke into the Mars Hill Police Department and took items including a toy handgun, counterfeit $100 bill and marijuana bong.
Madison County Sheriff John Ledford said interviews Tuesday led officers to the homes of the 16-year-old girls, one living in Ebbs Chapel and the other in Mars Hill.
One girl was charged with felony accessory to larceny after the fact. She was released into the custody of her parents.
The other was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and injury to personal property. She was being held at the Buncombe County jail. Bond was set at $6,500.
The break-in happened about 3 a.m. Oct. 11 when the department's overnight officer was out doing building checks.

A few months ago in Houston, two teenie-bopper girls ditched school. They robbed a bank to see what it would be like. They were dubbed the "Barbie Bandits." They were obviously alot cuter than the two in the above photo. What has become of our society? 0 -
Just don't know.
Guess the Mars Hill girls just don't get as good nutrition as the ones in Houston.
This points out an obvious critical need for more cosmetic surgeons in Mars Hill.
This could be handled by Swillary's health care initiative.
The incidence of teen age female bank and police station robbers would undoubtedly decline abruptly.

I think you might be mixing up your babe bank robbers. I recall seeing pics of a young, nice looking blonde female doing bank robberies down around Houston around the same time frame, but the "Barbie Bandits" thing didn't happen in Texas.
These two were from down around Atlanta and also weren't thrill seeking high schoolers skipping school. They pulled their robbery around the first part of this year, but were recently back in the news because they finally went to court.
Both were 19 and one worked as a dancer at a local strip joint. It turns out the reason they looked so relaxed and goofing around in the security video was because the teller they were robbing was one of their boyfriends and had set the whole thing up.0 -

I've spent some time in Madison County doing some work and that doesn't surprise me at all. Have seen folks there do some really stupid things, the excuse, no jobs here, like that would instantly give them good sense. Think it might be the water or maybe lack of quality efficient tinfoil hats.0 -
