going to see them in concert tonight. has anybody ever seen them?

    Today the wife and I went to the range to get some practice in as she now wants her own gun and to get a carry permit. I had 3 types of ammo-plain 148 grain wadcutters which we used in my 1905 Colt Army Special and my Taurus CIA, and 140 grain Hornady XTP's & Speer 135 grain Gold Dot +p load which we used in the CIA only. She loves shooting the Colt because those 148 grainers are super low recoil and the gun is heavy enough it soaks up the recoil-and they are not so bad in the CIA either. To be honest I could tell only a tiny difference in recoil or flash between the Speer or the Hornady loads though. The 148 grainers have virtually no flash. Is that because of the powder volume in the case or is it the type of powder they are using? At nighttime it darn near would blind you for a second.

    Yes many years ag oand they were great .. Im still a fan of them .. where is the concert ?

    in glenwood iowa at a race track. they are playing after the drag races, i won ticket from a radio station and got vip tickets

    seen them several times..once with molly hatchet,charlie daniels.and david alan coe..at legend valley outside of columbus ohio..good ole southern rock..Loko [8D]

    Saw them with Ted Nugent, Heart, Black Oak Arkansas, Foghat and Johnny Winter at a football stadium in Denver YEARS ago; best doggone concert I've ever been to!
    Woke up in somebody's yard in Thornton; didn't know anybody!

    Man, I love 38 special. Never seen 'em, though.
    I saw Molly Hatchet back in '83 or '84. When Danny Joe Brown reunited with the band. I've never been more disappointed in a concert in my whole life. The sound mix was awful and the band just looked bored.
