2 1909 Arg. mauser action's complete, & the guy is figure'n a price for 6 more.
I already have a new rifle started for a friend of mine & a new one started for myself, to take to Pa. this Nov. on my Black Bear hunt.
Don't really know what I will build them into, but I think its a safe bet, you can't have too many around.

  Are those large ring 98s Dan? Two weeks ago our local Big5 had Yogo 24/47 8mm Mausers for $99.99. The good folks on this forum informed me that they were large rings but a quarter inch shorter than a 98. I bought one ($108.59 out the door)just to get the action. I see in today's paper they have more, so I'm gonna grab another. I don't know how that price compares to what you paid.

  Yes they are large ring, complete with the hinged floor plate, heres the descpt. they sent me,
  Complete Arg. Mauser action , Numbers match on floor plate and reciever , Reciever manufactured by - DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN BERLIN.
  I called him and made sure they were Large ring.
  I think if your gonna build a true custom on a mauser action then the 1909 Arg. is the ONLY way to go.
  I will let you know actual condt. when they get here. Untill then he is holding the other 6 for me, if the first two are what he says then I will take all 6 / but they are costing me More than the one you just bought.
