Do y'all have relatives like this?
Money grubbers??? My inlaws were both hospitalized a while back. They both decided to sue for malpractice of the Dr. and hospital. Well we spoke to them a week ago. They could not get any answers out of the Attorney handling the case. He is from where we live. They moved back up north. Wifes brothers and sisters were pushing the issue to sue and counting all the $$$$$$$ their Mom and Dad were going to get and already planning on how they were going to spend it.. Well... I just got off the phone with the Attorney and guess what? Neither have a case... I am thrilled beyond belief .. Laughing that all the chickens being counted are now gone.. I love it.[:D][:D][:D][:D] Can't wait to call them tonight..

Dont count the chickens before the eggs hatch 0 -
I think we all have one or two relatives that are money grubbers, but the worst relatives are the ones who constatly brag about what they have, what they buy, where they go etc....they brag so much it makes one wonder what they are hiding or missing in their lives...
Are you going to deliver the news they dont have a case or what?..why call them?..0 -
ALL OF THEM!![:D] 0 -
It will all be my fault.. I suggested the Attorney when they wanted one. I told them I did not think it would do any good. The Attorney took a little over a year to gather all the info and BINGO.. NO case. Wife's brothers and sisters were already spending the millions... Can't help but laugh.. 0 -

Actually we will probably get a thank you call from them. Wife sent $$$ to her Mom for a birthday gift. The gift is to go see the DR. She hasn't been since they left 10 months ago. Siblings up North don't have the money to help them. They filed bankrupsty before moving north. They asked us to find out what the Attorney was up to so I may call them tonight.0 -
I have a son-in-law and daughter-in-law like that however they have their parasitic eyes on our wills. 0 -
Wife just called her parents. They are not happy with the Attorney's results. Oh well..... 0 -
Unfortunately, I do have some of them in my family. Worse, they are on my side. I have a 24 year old sister who is married with a kid and still lives with my mom. Mom is too nice to kick them out (and she is too attached to her granddaughter). My older sister is a class 'A' parasite. She has been evicted twice and can't keep a job. But she can collect child support and then her and her daughter can go have their nails done! [V] 0 -
I do.
One of them is dead-shot in the heart at close range with a .243.
Another one is so bad her own children won't speak to her. She is 60 years old and has NEVER had a job. Been trying to get Social Security Disability for the past 30 years.0 -
I have a brother, always working the newest multi-level marketing schemes, always going to be a instant millionaire overnight, always trying to get friends, family, and strangers into this "unbelievable opportunity that only comes along once in a lifetime". Now twenty five years later, fifty "once in a lifetime" opportunity's have come and gone, he has lost most of his "so called friends" (his description) and still does not get "it". (sigh)[V][V] 0 -
I got a sister-in-law that is sueing Home Depot for pain, suffering, her time, and gas money ( She lives 1/2 mile away ) because she bought a tube of caulking that was dried out. When she tried to return it, Home Depot told her they were sorry, and would be glad to exchange it. That however was not good enough for her. [:(!][V] I hate that BEEECH! 0 -
It's a shame that so many are looking for a easy way out. No wonder insurance and everything is so expensive to pay for the worthless lawsuits.
I think tommorrow I go a slip and fall at WalMart.[B)][:D]0 -

I have a brother-in-law who's a deadbeat. Is that the same thing? 0 -
Oh the stories I could tell of my wifes wonderfull family. I'll say more if I feel like typing later on. 0 -
I absolutely cannot stand the people in this world who spend more time and energy trying to get "something for nothing" than actually working to earn their money! It just makes my blood boil to see how prevailant this attitude is in the US.
If you slip and fall in Walmart, It's your own damn fault! Be more careful about where you place your feet!0
