Off topic but I have to say this.
I walked past a fella at the cash machine today who was wearing
coveralls and had on his name tag Ronald J. Snow.
I could not remember where I had seen that name before until this post.
you aren't in WA state are you?

Not me; I am in Maine, about as far as you can get from Washington!

I have run into quite a few others with the same name including one lawyer and one accountant.

I have seen some bad gun work in my time, but.... wow.

But my sickness is such that I look at it and think, "I could do something with it...."

Good luck to you! I'm still trying to scrounge the $$$ for the bolt guts for the '91 receiver I bought awhile back -- for a penny. I also have, hmm, three small ring and one Turk large ring projects going.

But I still look at it and think, "I could do something with it...."

That rifle qualifies as an antique. 1891 Argentine mausers marked "Manufactura Loewe Berlin" were manufactured up until 1896.
